General Information:

24/25 Bell Schedule w/ Late Start dates


Attention Parents, Guardians and Students: Monday, May 19, 2025 is a late start and the final late start of the year. Period one (1) begins at 9:56am. Please arrive at school on time. Additionally, Monday, May 26, 2025 is a school holiday in observance of Memorial Day. School will resume on Tuesday following our regular bell schedule. 



Attention Parents, Guardians and Students: If an item is brought to school for student pick up, please be advised of the following information:

  • Please send your student a message indicating that the item (water bottle, jacket, etc) has been dropped off and it can be picked up at the Attendance office in between classes. Staff will not inform the student. 

    • If your student does not have a cell phone, please let staff know when you drop off the item and a call will be made into your students class indicating where they can come to pick up the item (Attendance office)

  • Any items of high value (phone, Chromebook, money, etc..) staff will call into the class at the last 10 minutes indicating where they can pick up the item (Attendance office). Staff will hold onto the item until the student picks it up.

  • Rosemead High School does not allow any outside food orders/gifts/balloons etc.. to be delivered via any food delivery services, brought to school by students or delivered to campus by family members. This rule will be strictly enforced. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.



Campus Safety:

Students, to ensure a safe and orderly campus environment, we ask that all students adhere to the following guidelines:

  • School IDs must be worn at all times while on school grounds

  • Students & Staff: All bikes (including electric), skateboards, scooters (including electric) must be walked on campus (including the parking lots) at all times and locked up upon arrival to campus. If you need assistance please reach out to a campus supervisor or administrator.

  • We want our Panthers to enjoy physical activity during nutrition and lunch. We ask that students that want to throw a football or kick a soccer ball use the large grassy area in front of the gym.

  • OFF LIMITS: all areas behind the gym, tennis courts, fields beyond the tennis courts and the football field are off limits during nutrition and lunch.

  • Additionally, the N (English) building is off limits during lunch. If you need to visit a classroom for tutoring, club meeting, test make-up etc.. Please ask your teacher for a pass in advance.

  • Drop off/pick up/speed limit:

    • Please note, the speed limit on Mission Drive is 25 mph

    • Campus Security will have signs at the front of the school indicating how drop off should be done. 

    • Please do not block driveways or park in restricted areas (fire hydrants, etc)

    • We ask that families utilize the drop off/pick up parking lot on Rosemead Blvd. This lot can be accessed while traveling northbound on Rosemead Blvd. It is a one way in and one way out location.


  • Attention parents/guardians: You must provide a valid ID when coming to campus to conduct school business (picking up your student, attending a meeting, etc). We thank you for your cooperation.

Student Parking: 

  • Parking is available for students in the lot located off Rosemead Blvd. To park in this lot, students must have a valid Parking Permit. Permits can be requested from the Activities Office. To obtain a permit, please complete the following steps:

  1. Pick up a Student Car Registration Form from the Activities Office.

  2. Submit the completed form along with the following documents:

    • Driver’s License

    • Car Registration

    • Proof of Car Insurance

Students must display their Parking Permit each time they enter the parking lot. Campus Supervisors will issue warnings to vehicles without a visible permit. After a second warning, parking privileges will be revoked, and the student will no longer be allowed to park in the lot.

Financial Aid - Seniors Still Apply!

The priority deadline for financial aid has passed, but it is still not too late to apply! California Community Colleges and other trade programs will still take applications and process aid for interested students.

The RHS Parents celebrated Cinco de Mayo on May 2nd, as they provided students with aguas frescas, chips and salsa to everyone that participated. A live band also performed during the students lunch time in the quad.

THREE weeks left for this semester! Be sure to finish strong! Make sure to complete all your assignments, study for your tests, and make up any missing work. Come to room 43 for academic support or work with a study group. 


24-25 Reclassification Ceremony is on Thursday, 5/22/25. Congratulations to our 43 newly reclassified multilingual panthers! Invitations have been sent home. Please call to RSVP.

Room 43 is open during lunch - please feel free to come by to have lunch, meet new friends, or just relax. I can answer your questions regarding your grades, classes, EL status, and reclassification progress. 



Guidance office:


Online Personalized Learning (OPL): Quarter 4 will end on 5/27 for seniors and 6/4 for the other grades.  Make sure to log in and start working immediately to avoid falling behind.  If you need help, contact your OPL teacher or Mr. Aliff in room 14.   


Seniors: If you’re currently failing a class needed for graduation, work on raising your grade immediately to avoid becoming a non-grad or encountering any issues with the check-out process.  Communicate with your teachers about your assignments and grade progress.  Feel free to contact your counselor if you have any questions or concerns.


Summer school schedules: The summer school schedules are being finalized and will be available by the end of May.  Thank you for your patience.
